fake minion factory
2 minion masters (with BiP)
3 saccers (with BiP, obviously)
2 resmers (sup runes and illusion of weakeness)
1 spirit spammer (with mark of protection and EoE)
you start as a normal minion factory, making aprox 30 fiends/minions.
the enemy team comes and sees winnowing + minions and does what any smart team would do - rush the minion factory! no time! rushing rushing!!!
suddently... EoE is dropped... MoP is used... everyone is in range of EoE, everyone dies...
i think it's a nice way of getting enemies to think this isn't an EoE bomb...
what do you think?

Not bad, now try making a full skills list for every profession .
Very interesting, as you can use the minions in other maps where EoE bomb cannot be used.
Though I don't think any profession needs to be using many superiors on them. For resmers - use infuse health and illusion of weakness.
Just in-case you don't want to die, but stay with MF build.

I also thought this was a good idea when I came up with it last week... I started a PUG doing it and ended up with a lot of The Harmless Fairies on my team. Now, I think they're running it in their guild. Dangit, I need to join a PVP guild. =)
Unfortunately, PUGs are hard to put together who can organize that well. I love the idea of looking like a MF right up until the team rushes in and then gets toasted... It's hard to organize a PUG for that though, so we dropped the minion part of it. Just started EoE bombing using the MF to get past the unworthy. That worked pretty well.
I think an organized group could definitely pull this off. We ended up sub'ing in saccers towards the end. Just needed a body to die and trigger EoE...
Unfortunately, Fertile Season is a decent counter to this. Not too many teams running that though. Remember to have your teammates bring leech sigs to prevent res'ing. And look forward to practicing ALOT. Heh...

I've seen some pretty crafty EoE bombs. One of the more entertaining ones was a seemingly ranger spike group with 5 R/Me and 1 Me/N that started out spiking us with orders and such, then all of a sudden the EoE dropped and everyone kamikazi'd with illusion of weakness. Scared the pants off of me.
This one is a bit more obvious, with all the sacrificing I'd keep an eye on the ranger. It'll still catch a lot of teams off-guard, though.

Although I have been bombed by EOE....hadn't thought about this before......now minions aren't human, so are there 30+ masterless bone minions/horrors having a big undead frag-fest?
And could this be used near a GH etc to beat 'em?

minions arent hurt from humans dying from EoE, but after 2-3 minions have died under EoE (from attacks/degen), then the rest die automatically.
it can be used in gvg, but you aren't hurting the lord by doing the actual bomb, only the other team and your own team (i think).

i was a victim of that as well. it started off as a ranger spike, which my team was fending off pretty well. all of a sudden, eoe got dropped and we all died. pretty crafty.
a fakeout like this would be pretty interesting if you can coordinate it well.

IMO, Ranger spike groups dropping EoE is quite.... odd. Simply because Ranger spikes do jsut that, spike a target with Rangers. I see no need for EoE, if you're ranger spiking as your shooting yourself in the foot. If you're spiking off targets 1 by 1, eventually everyone will be at the point where EoE splodes everyone. So yeah, Ranger spikes using EoE = odd.
Anyways, I haven't faced many EoE bomb groups in tombs, and even if I do, my guild build runs Fert as a standard spirit, so meh.

the point was that they weren't really ranger spike...
they just apeared to be that, so that the enemy wont suspect them.
after a few seconds of fighting, they drop EoE and kill the unprepared enemy team.

Sounds to me like a good old fashion backup plan. If the enemy isn't going down with the spike damage, plant EoE and sacrifice spike. Naturally, one of their team (the RezMer) is protected from the blast...

Yup.
And another what if?
So what if you built this with Rangers and Pets? Spike etc with EOE on hold.
EOE when next to GL. One ranger survives (flag runner perhaps or whatever) who has Revive and fast speed/cast etc....(again whatever).
Point being. EOE kills all the humans. Leaves all the pets alive by the bodies next to GL. If opposing IWAY....do a second bomb on pets (or a first bomb perhaps) and then quick bomb on humans right after.....still that one ranger alive either way with Rez animal which has a small radius so he would have to be quick.....(similar to Light of Dwayna). IWAY complicates things but the EOE with bodies around the lord and pets up is Plan A.
Just a thought.
Edit: I used GVG speak through this but meant to be oriented towards tombs.

there is no lord, or anything like that in tombs
against iway you wouldn't want to specifically aim to bomb the pets, since iway is stronger when the pets are dead.
